Kara Plaster, PA-C
Master Injector
Kara Plaster is a board-certified Physician Assistant recognized by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She completed her undergraduate degrees at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. After moving to Oklahoma Kara worked at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, in a lab setting, studying biomarkers in breast cancer such as the BRCA gene. She then went on to obtain her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. After graduation Kara spent 20 years in Orthopedic Surgery and Pain Management via Injectable Medications. She was always infatuated in the Aesthetic, Beauty and Wellness industry.
Kara was handpicked and trained by Barbara Marshall, Owner of Firm Medical Spa. Barbara opened avenues for multiple training session in various aesthetic institutes including Allergen Medical Institute, as well as others. Kara specializes in non-surgical aesthetic medical procedures to provide patients with a more youthful and refreshed look. Services include neurotoxin injection (Botox, etc.), dermal fillers, Sculptra, Tixel and body contouring (non-surgical fat removal and skin resurfacing) and more. She also takes care to make the experience itself as enjoyable as possible for her patients. Utilizing a full facial assessment, she enjoys working with her patients' goals and expectations to determine long-term plans of care.
When Kara is not at work, she enjoys spending time with family, practicing yoga and playing tennis. Kara also enjoys traveling and water sports including kayaking and paddle boarding.

I am a licensed esthetician with over four years in the industry as a skincare specialist. I consider myself a multi-faceted Esthetician. My passion is helping clients achieve their desired look using the most innovative techniques and technology. I pride myself on my precision and commitment to providing the best skin care. My goal with all my clients is to develop and maintain the best health and potential of their skincare. Equally as gratifying for me are the long-term relationships that I have built with my clients over the years. My focus is to bring customized services to each client giving the optimal spa experience with my skills. I furthered my education through advanced training obtaining many certifications in advanced skin care analysis, successful acne treatments, and sun damage/aging skin. Managing skin care has been a pleasure and a passion for me. Aesthetics is caring about people, and generally a sense of well-being from within. I believe in making my clients feel their best by enhancing their natural beauty.

From the very start, Barbara actively listens to truly understand your goals. She takes the time to explain all the options and make recommendations based on years of experience helping people achieve exceptional results. Barbara’s dedication to patient satisfaction shines through in every aspect of her practice. She takes pride in offering the latest, greatest, safest, and most affordable options for looking and feeling amazing.
Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Barbara has always been interested in aging well. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma. She went on to earn her master’s degree in nursing along with multiple certifications in aesthetic medicine.
Before opening her own practice, Barbara served as a registered nurse at Indiana University Hospital performing a wide range of duties in various healthcare settings. Her professional experience also includes work as a Legal Nurse Consultant, Primary Nurse Case Manager, Home Infusion Therapist, Wellness Coach, and Preventative Diabetes Instructor. Barbara lives with her partner and son in Jenks. The family shares their home with two mini Goldendoodles, Bodie, and Boots.
