Tixel® is a fractional skin resurfacing device that provides anti-aging improvements to skin tone and texture. Treatments can be performed on multiple body areas, such as the face, neck and décolleté. This is a non-invasive, “lunch-time treatment’ that only requires a few short sessions and delivers radiant, more youthful results! We recommend 3-6 treatments for best results.

This is passed over the face and neck, delivering short bursts of heat energy directly to the skin’s surface, without damaging deeper skin tissues. This stimulates collagen production, which in turn tightens the skin.

Treatments last about an hour. We will massage numbing cream into your face to help ensure that you feel as comfortable as possible. The Tixel machine has a handheld device that we will use to pass over the predetermined treatment areas of the body for a fraction of a second. In this fraction of a second, short bursts of heat will be applied to the skin until the whole treatment area has been covered.

The number of treatments you’ll need depends on your individual skin concerns. Some patients may see results after just one treatment; however, a course of 3-6 sessions spaced 6 weeks apart is often recommended to achieve ideal results. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 6 months thereafter.
